You could "probably" fidget around with PCI passthrough to get it to
work, but IMO it's not worth it.

What about running a full desktop distribution in a domU, where all
the stuff for daily work is in, and I install regularly software from
not 100% certified sources, and want to play games and all the 3d
stuff?

And for security reasons, because I don't want to use and store things
like gpg keys in a system where I do all that stuff, I want that in
another domain.

Plus, when that desktop system crashes, or is played to death, I can
easily reinstall - keeping other stuff going.

If I use the domain 0 systemm for that, I can still run some domus for
software development stuff, but when the main system is crashed I have
to do some installation stuff, and risk of pressing one wrong button,
and also the whole other stuff is gone.

Or is that a completely stupid idea?

Henning
