Hi Mark,

I forgot to mention that somewhere on my CV there is School Certificate from
Cambridge University in 1972 :-)

Anyway here is what I get :

suse76:/ # xm create -c /etc/xen/inhouse
Unexpected error: exceptions.ImportError

Please report to xen-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/sbin/xm", line 10, in ?
    main.main(sys.argv)
  File "/usr/lib/python2.4/xen/xm/main.py", line 897, in main
    rc = cmd(args)
  File "<string>", line 1, in <lambda>
  File "/usr/lib/python2.4/xen/xm/main.py", line 532, in xm_subcommand
    cmd = __import__(command, globals(), locals(), 'xen.xm')
  File "/usr/lib/python2.4/xen/xm/create.py", line 30, in ?
    import xen.lowlevel.xc
ImportError: /usr/lib/python2.4/xen/lowlevel/xc.so: undefined symbol:
xc_domain_get_vcpu_info
~
The /etc/xen/inhouse file

#  -*- mode: python; -*-

# configuration name:
name     = "inhouse"

# usable ram:
memory   = 2048

# kernel und initrd:
kernel   = "/boot/vmlinuz-xen"
ramdisk  = "/boot/initrd-xen"

# boot device:
root     = "/dev/sda2"

# boot to run level:
extra    = "3"

# network interface:
vif      = [ 'mac=00:60:B0:3C:39:70, bridge=xenbr0' ]
dhcp     = "dhcp"
hostname = xen76

How dirty is this config?

Cheers,
Jimmy

PS Did I also mention about the Solutions Linux 2006 to morrow?

What's naughty about the domU? ;-)

The second problem sounds like it could be a Yast bug...

Cheers,
Mark

Mark: To answer a question with a question: What use is a skateboard?
Dave: Skateboards have wheels.
Mark: My wheel has a wheel!
