Looking at xm help, i found this

  Scheduler Commands:
sched-bvt <Parameters>           Set Borrowed Virtual Time scheduler parameters
sched-bvt-ctxallow <Allow>       Set the BVT scheduler context switch allowance
sched-sedf <Parameters>          Set simple EDF parameters

and also found and entry inside the wiki at http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/Scheduling , however there are no examples which i can refer to. The closest i found was a post at http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-users/2005-12/msg00432.html . However when i try to run
xm sched-bvt 0 10 0 0 0 0
errors are returned

Error: (22, 'Invalid argument')

Any help will be appreciated.

Is there a way in Xen to place a limit on cpu utilisation and network resources ? This is not the number of cpu which a domain can use, i want to limit the cpu time/ units a domain can use maximum. Hence utilising the maximum cpu resources available to the host.

Same applies to network resources. Is it possible to rate limit a domain for example limit one domain at 1MB/sec and another at 512kb/sec ??
