Does networking work once you are booted into the xen0 kernel before you 
start xend?
Can you expand on "absolutely no networking"? i.e.:
 - do you see packet RX counts going up over time using ifconfig?
 - do packets appear to being transmitted (TX count in ifconfig or 
tcpdump on the destination machine)?
These sorts of problems are often related to your iptables firewall config.

Some useful data for us would be the output of the following commands:

ifconfig -n
route -n
iptables -L -v -n
iptables -L -v -n -t nat
btctl show
brctl showmacs xen-br0
