cannot reproduce this bug on 3.0.1 with vifname=vif-foo and restart=always

btw the line 91 which fail is:

back['ip'] = ' '.join(ipaddr)

instead of having a [ string ] you appear to have a [ [] ]
so something is wrong with your ip address, not the vifname.
